Customizing a plan

Builder will customize stock plans by changing details. The builder may change the type of siding, move a doorway, or even add a dormer. However, the house is not truly a custom home.

A customized home can give a stock plan a custom feel. However, only specific aspects of the house are really customized. The house itself is not designed and built as a unique plan for the family that will live there.

Customizing a plan is often a good way to obtain many of the functional and aesthetic features that you would like to enjoy with a quicker build time than building a completely custom home.  You will use our existing floor plan, but you can participate in the selection of things like flooring, paint colors, light fixtures, granite, and exterior brick / rock.
